Real Life Hey Arnold Occurences
Just a place to talk about anything that happens to you that has to do with the show.
Like last week my sister Brainy-Punched one of her friends. Didn't break his glasses, thankfully, but it was still hilarious.
Actually, on Sunday we used one of my videos for my bible class. Kinda strange, considering the one the teacher picked was Do I Creep You Out
You guys got anything?

What a fun topic!
Brainy-punches are hilarious xD
I'll have to think about this one.. I use a lot of HA! quotes. But I'm sure I've had a lot of HA! moments in real life as well.. Can't remember them though.
*tries hard to remember them*

I use a lot of HA! quotes too.
About a year and a half ago, I made this parody video about chemical safety. I had one of my professors dress up as a pirate with an eye patch and I asked about his lab accident, and his response was "I succumbed to slippage." Then I used the slippage song (from the episode Teachers' Strike) during the end credits of the video.
Now the word slippage has spread around and become kind of an inside joke among the chemistry dept. at my school. Like if we have to take a group picture or something, the person behind the camera will usually say "Say Slippage!" (instead of cheese).
I also used to teach a 1 credit class where we would watch a couple HA! episodes one day during the term. haha, I wanted to bring Arnold out of the 4th grade and into the college curriculum

Awesome ^^ And did it work?
I still don't remember any HA! occurrences, but when someone asks me for advice and I'm too lazy to answer I tell them never to eat raspberries xD
My family's used to that by now
There are a lot of people who remind me of HA! characters btw.
I had a teacher who was exactly like Mr. Simmons, it was almost scary.. He was our teacher before the show aired though.. And there was a man at my dad's work who looked exactly like Simmons! Me and my cousin both noticed the minute we walked into his office, and we were grinning at each other, and whispering "do you see that?! OMG That's SO funny!" *great memories.. sigh*
I knew a guy who acted just like Sid.. and another one like Curly (he even snapped one day and ran away xD )
My best friend always reminded me of Helga, she even said so herself, that she was a lot like Helga

It worked while I was teaching the class. But I'm not teaching the class anymore, so it didn't stay as a permanent part of the curriculum.

Re: Real Life Hey Arnold Occurences
I was on the phone with a friend and went "Any minute now!"...I'm not sure he got the reference, but at the end of the convo he went "This conversation never happened." I giggled and went "Forgetting!".

A teacher like Mr. simmons huh? school must've been pleasant ... most of my elementary school teachers were like mr. wartz they stank.
Omigosh! a kid like curly!?
I always imagine kids like him turn out to be like those school shooters we hear about in the US ... hope he's living a normal life though.
